	<title>Mortgage Rates</title>
	<description>
Buying is an awesome task.

First you have to find the home you want.
Then you need to negotiate the proper terms for the purchase
Then you need to get the mortgage from your bank or specific mortgage company.

This process could take several months and wear out the best of us. But there is one thing to remember throughout this process - the best home mortgage is the one with the lowest mortgage rates and terms throughout the course of your loan.

Lowest mortgage rates versus the best
This is not debatable. What is debatable is what goes into that lowest rate. It would do you absolutely no good to look for mortgage loans with initially low rates that increased after three years if you were planning on staying in your home for 15 or 30 years after that. Low initial rates do not mean low overall rates. Fortunately, home mortgage rates have dropped to a 40-year low recently. You can get your hands on a fixed rate mortgage with mortgage rates hovering around 5%. With mortgage rates this low you can buy the house of your dreams. You can own a house like those found on Wisteria Lane in ABC's Desperate Housewives. You can live in a great neighborhood next to beautiful women who lead incredible lives. You might even see a house burn down, a woman kill herself, another woman hit by a car and another woman killed by one of her neighbors - all in the same blissful afternoon with your Maytag boy! Most of things will probably never happen to you, especially with an American mortgage with great low mortgage rates.

Low mortgage rates provide great mortgage opportunity
Maybe Wisteria Lane is not for you, but there are plenty of homes out there which you could fall in love with. With mortgage rates this low, you can get more home then you ever thought you could afford. You could even get a bad credit mortgage at a great low rate if you qualify, and get a debt consolidation mortgage to help alleviate your debt fiasco. Even if you don't qualify, since current mortgage rates are so low you will likely get a good deal.

Once you find what you are looking for, you can then begin to get that mortgage you have always wanted. A mortgage that even your father-in-law could be proud of with mortgage interest rates that will make him gasp for breath.
